For my parti I gathered some more ideas for a dining area; I enjoy the idea of an open and calm area that is simple and has more neutral colors. I was to explore the idea of a multifunctional space that has the dining area, the kitchen and the living room to be connected. Some separation will be between the room spaces but not a full wall, a fireplace or different floor materials will act as a divider instead. The pictures above have given me idea of using wood for the furniture to give it a more natural feeling; I also would like to incorporate a lot of natural lighting in the spaces because I believe that would give the space a welcoming feeling.
